Meet Shelby, BD
Shelby (she/her) is a full spectrum doula, she is honored to help support families in the Denver metro area on their reproductive journey.
As a doula she listens with compassion and serves with her heart and soul. She helps gather knowledge and provides evidence based care. She supports in moments of vulnerability, as well as moments of strength.
Besides attending births, she also provides virtual support and education to postpartum families, pregnant people, and families experiencing infant loss. She is passionate about community based care and works with a non profit, volunteering to support birthing families. Continuing education is very important to her, to ensure she is up to date on evidence-based care and how to best support birthing people. Outside of birth work, she enjoys painting in her art studio, gardening, and checking off experiences on her bucket list.

”Hi, I'm Shelby- I'm a full spectrum doula.”
What do you do for fun?
”I love painting in my art studio, working in my garden, yoga, hiking with my two pups, and traveling with my partner of 12 years.”
What inspires you?
”My family and closest friends are a huge source of inspiration to me. I love being able to cheer them on, as well as watch them grow into even more incredible humans! They inspire me to keep going, even on hard days.”
What’s your favorite food?
”Such a hard question! I will never say no to tacos! While coffee isn't a food, it's definitely something I require daily too!”
What’s one other thing you want people to know about you?
”I've been through my own personal journey and struggle with navigating the health care system. After being dismissed and overlooked many times by providers, I felt a deep calling to help support others feel more empowered and advocated for within the health care world.”
