Focusing on You

Kristin Reiswig is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical and informational support to you before, during and after birth, and in the early postpartum period. She feels a deep responsibility to providing a continuous source of comfort, encouragement and support (both emotional and physical) during labor.

Birth Doula Package

$2200*

Consultation

1 prenatal appointment per month beginning around 24 weeks (~roughly 3 visits, about 2-2.5 hours each)

On-call from 37th week until birth

Labor support

2 hours immediate postpartum support

1 postpartum home visit:(includes birth celebrations, processing your birth story, and postpartum healing and recovery discussion)

Lactation support

Resources for you and your birth partner

Evidence-based information in regards to you questions and concerns

Emotional and physical support during labor

Guidance and support to ensure your autonomy during the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

1 month postpartum support and guidance via phone, text or short home visits during the first four weeks after the birth.

Postpartum Support

$40/hour for daytime care

Postpartum doulas provide service for a family anywhere from a few days/nights up to a few months after bringing home a new baby. Families may choose 1-3 days/nights a week or as many as 5 a week.

Postpartum services
3-hour minimum, 6-hour maximum.

  • Lactation support

  • Help with the emotional and physical recovery after birth

  • Light housekeeping and laundry

  • Running errands

  • Training and assistance with newborn care such as diapering, bathing, feeding and comforting

  • Light meal preparation

  • Baby soothing techniques

  • Referrals to local resources such as parenting classes, pediatricians, lactation support and support groups
