Meet Kristin, BD/PPD
Kristin Reiswig(she/her), BD/PPD, is a mother of 5 and a trained professional who provides emotional, physical and informational support to you before, during and after birth, and postpartum. Through your strength or vulnerability, she provides a continuous source of comfort, compassion, and encouragement during labor.
“From beginning to end, this is all about you,” says Kristin.
Kristin is a is certified as a Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula.
“I am here to support your highest vision for your birth and family. And I am always honored to create a relationship during this momentous time in their lives.”
The power of choice and autonomy is very important to Kristin—making sure her clients’ voices are heard and respected, and shielding them from assembly-line care. Adequate information is always given about procedures, medications, and tests. And Kristin is there the entire way, giving you evidence-based information to help you make the decisions that will build the positive birth experience you want.

(Minimum 4 hours for daytime postpartum care. Minimum of 8 hours for night postpartum care.)
Postpartum doulas provide service for a family anywhere from a few days/nights up to a few months after bringing home a new baby. Families may choose 1-3 days/nights a week or as many as 5 a week.

”I love to travel. Spending time on the dock in northern Michigan. Riding horses on the beach in Sayulita, Mexico. Love places that have beaches and oceans together.”
