Meet Kassidy, PPD

Kassidy is a DONA certified doula and womb worker. She believes that all women deserve to be educated, supported, and empowered throughout the birth continuum. On a mission to deepen women's connection to their wombs (as it's where we store our emotions and trauma), She is ready to assist you through the powerful initiations that are pregnancy, birth, and motherhood.

“After experiencing womb trauma and an autoimmune disease years ago, I took some time to dive into womb work and heal myself. The energetic healing I devoted myself to allowed me to heal physically and empower myself to trust in the wisdom of my body and womb in pregnancy and birth. I am here to honor your story, provide you with healing tools, and remind you of your power.

I provide trauma-informed care under training of the Vagina Awakening Practitioner Training. I am also in training for the VBAC Link's VBAC Doula training and craniosacral therapy. When I am not in service, I love to spend time with my husband, four-month-old son, and our dogs in nature. “

Q&A with Kassidy

How do you introduce yourself?
”I’m Kassidy, DONA doula and womb worker, specializing in VBAC/TOLAC births.”

What do you do for fun?
"I love to spend time in nature–hiking, camping, meditating. Being outside grounds me and I enjoy family time the most away from our devices and indoor air.”

What inspires you?
”Women. I am continually in awe of women's strength–especially throughout the birth continuum. It's connecting with women, where I find my strength revived and reminded of why I do what I do.”

What’s your favorite food?
”I would love to say anything sweet–I probably have the biggest sweet tooth. But I feel my best and truly enjoy the food I eat when it's something homemade with a whole lot of veggies. Have you ever tried the veggie platter at an Ethiopian restaurant?!”

What’s one other thing you want people to know about you?
”Any other travel bugs out there? I've had the travel bug since I was little, but the almost five months I spent in Tanzania is what started my passion for women's work. I had the humbling opportunity to learn from Masaai women and the organization they created to move the women in their community away from female genital mutilation and to financial and rooted empowerment. I cannot wait to travel more both for family leisure and doula/women's work.”
