Qualifications

  • Completion of a doula training program

  • Current certification as a doula from a recognized organization

  • Interest and/or experience in cannabis use during pregnancy and childbirth

  • Availability to attend client births and pre/postpartum appointments

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to work collaboratively with other birth professionals

  • Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations

  • Willingness to adhere to Momentous Doula Care's code of ethics and standards of practice.

Steps To Join

  • Fill out our online doula questionnaire: The first step to becoming a Momentous Doula is to fill out our online doula questionnaire. Once we receive your application, we will review it and get in touch with you to set up an interview over Google Meet.

  • Attend the interview: During the interview, we'll discuss your qualifications, experience, and goals as a doula. We'll also answer any questions you have about the agency.

  • Wait for our decision: After the interview, we'll need 3-5 business days to make a decision and send you a welcome packet if you're accepted.

  • Review and sign the contract: The welcome packet will include a contract that outlines our expectations and the terms of our agreement. Please review it carefully, and if you agree to the terms, sign and return it to us.

  • Begin accepting clients: Once you're signed up with Momentous Doula Agency, you can begin accepting clients. You'll set your own prices and work as an independent contractor. We'll take care of the administrative tasks such as billing and scheduling.
